You will strengthen our team in the Central Services, Occupational Safety and Health Promotion (ASGF) area from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

Safety Officer (m/f/d)

• Support and advice to management, departments and line supervisors on legal requirements, risks and preventive measures
• Support for site management and cost estimation during the tender phase and in the AVOR of safety and health protection concepts
• Inspection and execution of safety audits on construction sites, workshops and office locations
• Collaboration with ASGS specialists in working groups (ARGE) and within the Marti Group
• Investigation of accidents, near misses and safety-related incidents as well as derivation and implementation of appropriate measures
• Maintenance and further development of the company ASA safety system including definition of annual goals, focus programmes and campaigns
• Development, updating and clear communication of safety rules, work instructions, checklists and prevention documents
• Collaboration with the Occupational Safety and Health Promotion (ASGF) team and HR

• Completed technical basic training with further training as foreman, site manager or equivalent as well as further training as ASGS specialist
• Sound knowledge of Swiss ASGS legal bases, especially UVG, VUV, ArG, BauAV and EKAS guideline 6508
• Experience in hazard identification, safety concepts, audits and accident investigations
• Good knowledge of typical construction methods, work equipment and special hazards in the construction industry
• Confident written documentation as well as good user knowledge of Microsoft 365 and HSE systems
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form, any additional language is an advantage
• Committed personality with initiative, communication skills and empathy
• Willingness to travel within the canton of Bern, workplace Moosseedorf
