Job Description

• Operation, monitoring and further development of network and security infrastructures
• Engineering and administration of firewall and security solutions based on Fortinet and Cisco
• Planning, design and implementation of network and security projects
• Participation in architecture, integration and migration projects
• Operation and further development of Ergon Airlock WAF and IAM platforms
• Operation and optimisation of vulnerability management solutions
• Consulting and technical support for customers
• Development of new security services and continuous optimisation of existing solutions
• Support of junior engineers in the team

Profile

• Solid experience as a network and security engineer or in a comparable role
• Extensive knowledge of Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiClient)
• Very good Cisco networking knowledge (routing, switching, Layer 2/3)
• Very good understanding of TCP/IP, high availability, routing and network architectures
• Experience with web application security as well as IAM/SSO solutions
• Practical experience with Ergon Airlock WAF and/or Ergon Airlock IAM
• Knowledge in vulnerability management, ideally with Tenable
• Experience with VMware ESXi, VMware Tanzu (Kubernetes), Linux, Splunk or PAM solutions is an advantage
• Ideally experience in a customer environment or with an IT service provider German at least at level B1 as well as good English skills
• Independent, solution-oriented working style and enjoyment of complex technical challenges
