Become part of Gelateria di Berna. For our production site in Bern, we are looking for an independent doer personality – Dairy Technologist / Food Technologist – who enjoys being in the thick of things and developing our production with us.

You are an important part of the production. You actively work on the equipment yourself while ensuring that machines, processes, and crew work together perfectly.

Your responsibilities: Independent production of our gelato bases (operation and monitoring of the equipment), coordination of daily production and professional support of the crew, independently recognising and resolving technical or organisational problems, and actively assisting in the continuous improvement of internal processes, ensuring quality and hygiene standards, and close collaboration as an interface with quality, development, purchasing, and logistics.

You bring: Training as a food or dairy technologist with practical experience in food production, technical flair, independent, structured working style, good physical condition, and good German language skills in spoken and written form.
