We are the Foundation for Blind and Visually Impaired Children and Youth Zollikofen - a private, politically and denominationally neutral organization with a non-profit objective. Our task is to support and accompany people with special needs from birth to young adulthood. We offer additional services to parents, teachers of public regular schools and special elementary schools, as well as to professionals. Our core competencies lie in the support and accompaniment of young people with visual impairments, blindness, multiple disabilities, or from the autism spectrum.

Tasks
The child to be supported is on the autism spectrum, exhibits externally directed aggressive behavior, and is taught in a 1:1 setting. You plan age-appropriate lessons according to Curriculum 21 and conduct them. You work closely with a team responsible only for this child. Regular team exchanges and supervision are mandatory. The individual education and support plan serves as the basis for your teaching. You are embedded in a class in Cycle 2.
Requirements
You hold an EDK-recognized diploma in school special education, a primary teaching certificate, or are studying for a Bachelor in Primary Education or a Master in School Special Education. Ideally, you already have experience teaching children on the autism spectrum. You approach challenging situations with the necessary professionalism and calm. You enjoy working with a committed team and contributing to a trusting and supportive climate.
