Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. It is ranked among the best hospital institutions worldwide according to the 2025 Newsweek magazine ranking. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in the fields of care, research, and education.

The hotel service catering includes several major kitchens that produce over 2.2 million meals annually for patients, staff, and visitors. This work is carried out by more than 300 professionals committed to quality and service.
The Central Food Production Unit (CPA), located on the Bussigny site, consolidates the cold production activities of the CHUV kitchens (semi-finished bakery, pastry, butchery, and pantry products).
