As the largest purchasing organization, it negotiates prices with authorized service providers on behalf of its customers and provides services in the area of performance management such as tariff controlling and efficiency audits.

Economist or Lawyer for Inpatient Tariffs 70 - 80%

Responsibilities

• Development of data-based negotiation strategies for inpatient tariffs
• Preparation of strategy papers
• Data analysis and reporting
• Benchmarking as well as development of price and volume models
• Support of negotiation management with data-driven lines of argument
• Participation in statements in cantonal procedures and before the Federal Administrative Court

Requirements

• Communicative, proactive, and team-oriented personality with persuasiveness
• Independent, efficient, and goal-oriented working style
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• High affinity for numbers, data, and statistics as well as their interrelationships
• Experience in the Swiss healthcare sector (including DRG, TARPSY, ST Reha, Rekole)
• Very good command of German, French skills are an advantage
• Completed higher education (FH/University) in economics or law
