Our client is an international financial broker. For the office in Zurich, we are looking for an Economist. Primary focus will be to work strategically with senior decision makers on the client side to further position the company and map out a joint path to growth.

Our client is an international financial broker. For the office in Zurich, we are looking for an Economist. Primary focus will be to work strategically with senior decision makers on the client side to further position the company and map out a joint path to growth.
Description
- Identify and analyze key economic trends
- Produce high quality, innovative research notes for a wide range of audiences
- Global financial market analysis with a focus on implications for the recommended asset
allocation with the aim to enhance future performance of client portfolios. - Advising existing clients on markets, investments and supporting CRM's by providing extensive investment support
- Guide and support the CRM's in sales activity & client advisory
Profile
- Master's degree in Finance/Economics or similar is mandatory
- Extensive experience and knowledge in common macroeconomic concepts, financial markets
- Proven track record of minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience and network in the Swiss B2B market (mainly banks and EAMs)
- Knowledge of how to apply IT solutions to business challenges and previous exposure to B2B and B2C client segments is very relevant.
- Skills in manager due diligence complement in the role as a generalist
- Drive and motivation to work in a target oriented and high-performance culture
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent language skills in English and German, any other language is a plus
