Your Challenge

In this versatile role, you take responsibility for the stable and secure operation of central security infrastructures and continuously develop them further. This includes, in particular, the Web Application Firewall (WAF), the Identity & Access Management environment (IAM), as well as the internal and external firewall infrastructure. You ensure reliable operation including monitoring and backup and actively contribute to incident, problem, and change management. Furthermore, you conduct analyses, engage with capacity management, and plan appropriate measures to ensure a secure and stable IT operation. In doing so, you work closely with internal stakeholders as well as external partners and specialists. You independently explore new technologies and topics and purposefully apply your newly acquired knowledge to the further development of the existing security landscape.

Your Qualities and Talents

• Higher education in computer science (FH/HF) or a comparable education or further training in the IT field, ideally with a focus on IT security
• At least 3 years of experience in a comparable role
• Ideally knowledge of authentication and federation procedures, such as PKI or SAML
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills
• Fluent in German
