JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Analysis and evaluation of offers, negotiation of complex commercial and contractual conditions, and derivation of well-founded purchasing and awarding decisions
- Conducting cost analyses, identifying and implementing cost optimisation measures, and ensuring material availability, especially during development and ramp-up phases
- Active participation in early project phases to define and implement optimal procurement strategies, as well as support for transfer-of-work activities and knowledge transfer
- Management and coordination of topics within a complex international matrix organisation, and close collaboration with development, quality, operations, project management, and other functions
- Preparation of management presentations and decision templates, independent prioritisation and risk analysis, as well as development of pragmatic solutions to achieve company goals and coordination of brand- and site-spanning activities
PROFILE:
- Completed degree or comparable education/training in business administration, (industrial) engineering, or a similar field
- Several years of professional experience in purchasing/procurement, ideally in a dynamic international environment
- Strong negotiation skills and assertiveness, as well as a professional approach to ambiguity, conflicting objectives, and changing requirements
- Excellent conflict resolution, communication, and teamwork skills
- Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
