Technical Group Leader Civil Engineering and Road Construction
Your Contribution with Us
- Responsible for managing the construction business in the region in cooperation with all relevant stakeholders
- Developing a shared vision and strategy and living it within the team
- Responsibility for the performance and results of the branch
- Leadership and development of employees in the branch
- Acquisition of construction contracts and systematic customer care in agreement with the division management
- Leadership and control of project and construction management for optimised project execution
- Conclusion of subcontractor contracts in coordination with the division management
- Negotiation with the client on essential issues of construction execution, interpretation, modification and extension of the construction contract as well as approval of amendments in agreement with the division management
- Control of construction progress and site results
- Implementation and co-responsibility for work preparation and site organisation
- Participation and co-design of innovation topics in construction (e.g. BIM)
- Responsibility for cost, schedule and quality issues
What Counts for Us
- Completed basic training in construction with further training to become a certified construction foreman and/or engineer or equivalent
- Several years of experience as a construction foreman in civil engineering and road construction is an advantage
- Convincing and confident negotiating presence
- Winning personality with strong customer orientation
- Very good MS Office skills and experience with RIB iTWO is an advantage
- High commitment and reliability
- Assertiveness, entrepreneurial thinking and acting as well as a strong goal orientation
- Teamwork and leadership experience, negotiation skills, flexibility as well as an independent and responsible working style complete your profile
