These are your tasks
The volunteer helpers are deployed in the following areas
- Reception: Newly admitted patients are accompanied by the patient admission to the various wards
- Visiting: The hospital stay is made a little easier for the patients through a conversation
- Sunday service: Patients are accompanied to the church service and brought back to the ward
- Orientation assistance: In the entrance area, arriving patients, guests, and visitors are shown the way or accompanied to the desired location
What you bring with you
- You do not need any special training to participate with us. What counts is your willingness to work and the desire to meet people in the hospital. As an employee, you commit to regularly taking on a specific task - no nursing - for two to four hours per week and to maintaining confidentiality.
- The focus is not on performance, but on the willingness to take time for both patients and visitors. This activity is based on voluntary work and is not remunerated. However, you benefit from various benefits of the Cantonal Hospital Graubünden and from a good feeling of doing something meaningful.
