Program Management Office (m/f/d)
136765 | 70 - 100% | Oerlikon, Zurich | Hybrid
Are you inspired by the idea of actively shaping financial management, governance, and operational control in one of Zurich’s most important strategic initiatives? Do you enjoy structuring complex project landscapes and leading them to success with high quality standards?
In the role of Program Management Office, you are part of the Information & Technology business unit within P&C Transformation and actively contribute to the further development of Zurich Switzerland.
Become part of P&C GoDigital, the most important strategic P&C initiative where future products, processes, and technologies are implemented. As PMO, you take on a key role in programme setup: you ensure project and programme governance, are responsible for central financial management topics, and drive process improvements as well as AI initiatives within the PMO. In the absence of the Senior PMO of P&C GoDigital, you represent them. Are you ready to use your experience profitably and shape the future P&C working world together with the team? Then this is the right position for you!
What to expect
- You are responsible for central financial management topics such as cost-benefit analyses (CBA), resource planning and controlling, Coupa orders, expense processing, accruals, budget tracking, and forecasting
- You ensure project and programme governance and continuously develop standards, processes, and quality assurance within the PMO
- You create, prepare, and ensure the quality of analyses, reports, presentations, and decision templates for the Programme Board and other stakeholder committees
- You drive process improvements and AI initiatives in the PMO (e.g. with MS Copilot) and handle ad-hoc topics in daily operations
- You cover holiday leave for the Senior PMO of P&C GoDigital, including preparation and support of Programme Board, Sounding Board, and various meetings and events
What distinguishes you
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on business, IT, or project-related subjects, plus several years of professional experience in a PMO, finance, controlling, or comparable role – ideally in complex IT or transformation programmes
- Sound knowledge of project and programme governance, financial planning, project controlling, and forecasting, as well as experience in thorough documentation and tracking of PMO activities
- Confident use of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and practical experience with project management tools such as MS Teams, Copilot, SharePoint, Confluence, and Azure DevOps
- Structured, reliable, and independent working style with a high awareness of quality, an affinity for numbers, an eye for detail, and the ability to deliver on time even under pressure
- Confident, audience-appropriate communication skills when dealing with different stakeholders, as well as very good German and English skills in spoken and written form (C1)
