These are your tasks
- Develop extensions in SAP S/4HANA Utilities with ABAP, ABAP OO, CDS Views and RAP according to Clean-Core principles
- Implement and operate side-by-side extensions and apps on the SAP BTP (CAP, Fiori/UI5, SAP Build)
- Co-design the cloud architecture with interfaces via the Integration Suite as well as security and authorisation concepts (IAS/IPS)
- Advise departments, support projects technically, assess solution variants and help shape architectural decisions
- Ensure quality through code reviews, development guidelines as well as transport and release management
- Technically extend SAP cloud solutions and integrate them into the hybrid SAP landscape with the SAP S/4HANA core system
- Represent the department management, lead the team technically in their absence and coordinate external partners
This is what sets you apart
- Degree in computer science (FH/Uni, HF or equivalent qualification)
- Several years of experience in ABAP development, ideally in SAP S/4HANA and preferably in the IS-U/Utilities environment
- Practical experience with SAP BTP: CAP, RAP, Fiori/UI5, Integration Suite; knowledge of SAP Build is desirable
- Experience with SAP CX or Sales and Service Cloud (V2 or C4C) and their integration into S/4HANA. Knowledge of SAP Engagement Cloud, SAP Ariba or SAP SuccessFactors is an advantage
- Good understanding of hybrid architectures (on-premise and cloud), APIs, events and security
- Leadership or deputy experience or motivation to take on this role
- Independent, structured working style and networked thinking as well as clear communication with departments and developer teams
