Field Service Technician (m/f/d)
Field Service Technician (m/f/d) Parking Systems
You get our systems running in real operation.
At SKIDATA, you ensure that parking and access systems run at the customer’s site when it matters: install, check, find faults and get them back up and running immediately.
Your contribution
You are on the road in the German-speaking part of Switzerland and work where our systems are in use.
If something isn’t working, you are the person who makes it stable again - calm, pragmatic and reliable.
You work independently, make decisions on site and ensure that everything functions in everyday life. The role combines electrical work with IT/network technology in modern access systems.
What you do with us
- You install and commission parking and access systems directly at the customer’s site
- You locate faults on site and get systems reliably running again
- You carry out updates and adjustments to keep systems stable
- You support customers in daily operations with clear technical solutions
- You document your work clearly and comprehensibly
- You are part of the on-call service for rapid deployments outside regular hours
What you bring with you
- A technical education (e.g. electrician, automation technician, electronics technician) and practical experience - you know your way around electricity, systems or equipment
- Good knowledge of IT/networks
- You approach challenges pragmatically, work solution-oriented and keep a cool head on site even when things need to be done quickly
- You enjoy working directly with customers, present yourself in a friendly manner and explain technical contexts understandably
- You like being on the road in the German-speaking part of Switzerland and hold a category B driving licence
Why SKIDATA
At SKIDATA, you don’t work in the background but where the systems are really needed - in daily use at the customer’s site.
You are often on the road, work independently in the field and see directly what your work achieves: functioning systems and ongoing operations.
- You work with modern technology in the field of parking and access systems
- You have a lot of personal responsibility in the field and organise your assignments yourself
- You solve problems directly on site - your work counts immediately in operations
- You continuously develop your technical skills through practical assignments
- You receive a company vehicle which you can also use privately
- You benefit from the stability and international opportunities of the ASSA ABLOY Group
