PostgreSQL Database Administrator (m/f/d)
WHAT YOU DO
- Install, configure and update PostgreSQL databases
- Monitor database performance and optimise queries
- Implement and test backup and disaster recovery processes
- Ensure database security and manage user access
- Troubleshoot database performance issues
- Actively collaborate with development teams
- Plan and carry out database migrations and updates
- Maintain documentation for database systems
WHAT YOU BRING
- You have initial professional experience in PostgreSQL database administration
- You have experience or interest in CloudSQL databases
- You possess analytical and communication skills that help you quickly identify and constructively solve problems
- You are interested in learning new things and applying what you have learned in practice
- Linux experience is essential as well as experience in IT operations
- You have confident German language skills and good English knowledge
