About the job
The Center for Children with Sensory and Physical Disabilities ZKSK is an interdisciplinary competence center for children and adolescents with physical, sensory, and multiple disabilities. At four locations, we offer individual medical and pedagogical therapy services. With psychological and medical assessments as well as therapies, we support, advise, and accompany children and families. To complement our team, we are looking for a Speech Therapist in Early Childhood (30 %) at our therapy center in Oensingen, starting immediately or by arrangement. You will treat preschool children with speech acquisition disorders and advise parents in our outpatient therapy center. Your tasks- Accompanying in individual therapy settings during the discovery of language and the improvement of speech behavior
- Therapy for children with swallowing and feeding difficulties and advising their families
- Expanding linguistic-communicative competencies
- Close collaboration with parents and caregivers
- Collaboration with pediatricians, specialists, or other professionals
- Speech therapy assessment of voice, speech, and perception disorders according to recognized standardized assessment procedures
- Supported communication (if necessary, provision of aids)
- Independent handling of administration (scheduling appointments, reporting)
- Degree in Speech Therapy
- Further training for the therapy of children with swallowing and feeding difficulties or the
- Knowledge and/or great interest in supported communication (UK)
- Experience working with children
- Knowledge of common assessments in speech therapy or willingness to learn them
- Enjoyment of independent work, case management, and administration
- Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration, where the child is at the center
