The Hochsteig Foundation operates the Hochsteig Boarding School in Lichtensteig for around 46 normally gifted
children and adolescents with learning and behavioral difficulties and also a
day special school in Uznach. From February 1, 2026, or by arrangement, we are looking for a
Social Pedagogue 80%
(Substitute)
You will be deployed in the various groups at the boarding school and, if necessary, also at Hochsteig
Uznach. Together with the teams, you accompany and support the children and
adolescents primarily in the extracurricular area. Assignments are planned as far in advance as possible, and you are usually assigned to a team on a weekly basis. You are a team player, flexible, and resilient, value interdisciplinary collaboration, and have completed social pedagogical training (FH, HF). Solid professional experience with
children and adolescents completes your profile.
We offer you an interesting field of work in a motivated team, opportunities for further training, a five-day week with largely free weekends (weekly boarding school), and
13 weeks of vacation (through compensation). The Hochsteig Boarding School in Toggenburg is very well accessible by public transport (St. Gallen 28', Wil 18', Rapperswil 28', Sargans 59').
