Task
You can contribute by- Conducting legal clarifications and research throughout the entire activity area of the EGBA as well as preparing orders
- Answering inquiries from authorities and private individuals and providing legal information
- Reviewing cantonal orders and decisions in the area of Lex Koller for their compliance with federal law and drafting complaints and statements to courts
- Preparing statements for other authorities in the inter-office consultation process and assisting in the preparation and evaluation of consultation procedures

The Federal Office of Justice (FOJ) is the federal competence center for law. It manages legislative projects in constitutional, administrative, private, and criminal law. The office advises on all federal legislative matters and cooperates with foreign authorities in the field of legal assistance and extradition.
The Federal Office for the Land Register and Real Estate Law (EGBA) is the federal authority responsible for property law, land register, notarial law, ship register, and Lex Koller. It prepares legislation in these areas and manages federal council and parliamentary matters. It reviews cantonal orders and decisions in the area of Lex Koller for their compliance with federal law and ensures uniform application of the law through information provided to authorities and complaints before cantonal courts and the Federal Supreme Court. It is responsible for the supervision of the land register and the ship register.
