You are looking for a new challenge as a Senior ICT Engineer with a focus on Network and Security. In this role, you take on demanding tasks and are responsible for the security and efficiency of networks. You bring your experience and expertise to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions. You work in a dynamic environment where you can continuously develop your skills. Responsibilities:
Planning and further development of resilient communication and protection architectures for customer environments.
Support of perimeter security, switching and WLAN components including configuration, performance tuning and lifecycle tasks.
Conducting technical audits as well as assessing security levels, monitoring and response processes.
Investigation of complex escalations and coordination of technical resolution at advanced support levels.
Professional support of customers, building know-how within the team as well as coaching junior staff and maintaining operational documentation.
Qualifications:
Completed ICT or telecommunications training with additional specialist training or equivalent professional experience.
Many years of experience in enterprise networking and cybersecurity with a focus on architecture, implementation and operations.
Very good practical experience with NGFW technologies, preferably Fortinet; knowledge of alternative manufacturers is also welcome.
Confident handling of IP networks, routing, switching, segmentation and quality of service as well as ideally experience with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise.
Strong troubleshooting skills, security understanding and customer focus combined with independent working, confident appearance and clear communication; category B driving licence required.
