Your tasks

• Responsibility for the technical implementation of modelled clinical and administrative processes into executable automations
• Building and further developing the technical automation layer between process modelling and operational execution in KISIM
• Responsibility for the technical direction and architecture in the area of the workflow engine
• Definition and establishment of technical standards, best practices, and reusable solution approaches
• Ensuring stability, scalability, monitoring, and error handling of automated workflows in the productive environment
• Analysis, debugging, and continuous optimisation of existing integrations and automations
• Technical sparring and support for software engineers in architecture, design, and implementation decisions
• Close collaboration with business analysts, product management, and software engineers within the team and across team boundaries for the seamless digitalisation of end-to-end processes
• Taking on the role of tech lead to drive the technical development of the workflow engine towards a standardised, scalable, and economically attractive solution

Your profile

• Completed studies in computer science, medical informatics, software engineering, or equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience
• Several years of experience in software development or system integration as well as solid knowledge in software design and architecture, ideally in the healthcare environment
• Experience in conceptualising technical solution approaches, making decisions, and supporting other software engineers technically and professionally
• Understanding of workflow or process modelling (e.g. BPMN, DMN, CMMN) desirable
• Experience with clinical standards such as HL7 or FHIR advantageous
• Experience in API design and integration technologies (REST, messaging, event-based architectures) advantageous
• Ability to connect technical and professional requirements and translate them into robust solutions
• Strong strategic and analytical skills, high personal responsibility, and enthusiasm for driving technical topics forward
• Entrepreneurial thinking, decisiveness, and leadership qualities.
• Fluent in German & English, French advantageous.
