Portrait of the School/Institution
Around 500 pupils and kindergarten children attend the primary/kindergarten level of the Wabern school. We run six kindergarten, six basic level, and five multi-grade classes in the 1st-2nd school year as well as seven grade classes in the 3rd-4th school year. Tasks
You teach 15-16 lessons at a basic level. You share the class teacher function with your team colleague. Most lessons are taught in team teaching. The class team consists of you, your co-class teacher, another part-time teacher, and a special education professional.
You take responsibility for the subject Mathematics. For the subjects NMG and TTG, you share responsibility with a colleague.
Working days:
Monday and Thursday full day, Tuesday morning or
Monday full day, Tuesday morning, Wednesday and Thursday 09:10 - 11:50 am
Your areas of responsibility include:
- Planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation of your own lessons
- Supporting learners in social, subject, and self-competence
- Close cooperation with the class team, especially the second class teacher and the IF teacher.
- Collaboration within the staff, with parents, school management, and specialist offices
- Individual further training, participation in staff days and meetings, and adherence to the standards applicable at the school.
Requirements
You hold a diploma for lower/middle level and preferably already have some professional experience with the basic level concept.
You are a reliable, motivated, and resilient personality with a healthy sense of humor. You enjoy working independently as well as in a team. You prepare your lessons conscientiously. Building relationships with the students entrusted to you is an important success factor for effective teaching.
