You can contribute in this role
- Create products such as service planning, military mobilisation tableau or military mobilisation poster
- Ensure the optimal utilisation of infrastructure in the Operations Command and plan, check and evaluate the occupancy of properties
- Support the development of readiness guidelines at army level and coordinate their implementation in the Operations Command as well as conduct feasibility studies in the area of readiness
- Maintain the permanent situation picture of infrastructure in your own area and ensure its timely creation
- Write statements and process enquiries from military and civilian circles regarding infrastructure and service planning in the Operations Command
What makes you unique
- Higher commercial or technical education with two to three years of functionally relevant professional experience
- Experience in project management and/or project collaboration
- Very good IT skills, as well as in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organisational and negotiation skills, very good editorial skills as well as an independent, responsible and service-oriented way of working
- Completed training as a staff officer or company commander as well as good knowledge of a second official language

The Operations Command (Kdo Op) is responsible for all military operations and missions of the Swiss Army. The Kdo Op includes, among others, the Air Force, the Army, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT competence centre, the Special Forces Command and the Military Police. Around 40% of the approximately 2,500 employees are civilians – from engineers to aircraft mechanics to analysts.
The Swiss Army employs over 9,000 people in four military and around 200 civilian professions – at 110 locations throughout Switzerland. The next generation is also taken care of: the Swiss Army trains apprentices in over 30 professions.
