Hapimag is a Swiss holiday company founded in 1963 with its headquarters in Steinhausen. The company operates in 16 countries, employs around 1,800 staff, and manages more than 5,000 holiday apartments in 56 resorts across Europe. Hapimag covers the entire value chain from development and management to the operation of the resorts.

As part of the further development of the HR organisation, we are looking for an experienced HR leader as Teamlead HR Services. In this newly created role, you will take on the professional and personnel leadership of a small team and be responsible for payroll and HR services for the HQ and the Swiss resorts. At the same time, you will have plenty of scope to structurally and organisationally further develop and sustainably realign the area.

You will build on existing structures and purposefully develop HR work together with the team. You will constructively question working methods, bring clarity to roles, responsibilities and processes, and contribute to making collaboration efficient and effective. Your experience from different and ideally larger organisations will help you bring in new impulses and proven approaches. At the same time, you have the sensitivity not to transfer these one-to-one but to pragmatically tailor them to Hapimag – lean, solution-oriented and fitting the organisation and way of working.

Your challenge

• Payroll & HR Services
  • Overall responsibility for reliable and professional HR administration for around 250 employees at the headquarters and in the Swiss resorts
  • Review of the monthly payroll including deputising during employee absences
  • Responsibility for matters relating to social insurance, pension fund as well as accident and health insurance
• Operational Excellence
  • Further development of HR services with the aim of making processes simpler, more efficient and increasingly digital
  • Bringing in best practices and new impulses from larger or more complex organisational environments and pragmatically translating them to Hapimag’s needs
  • Targeted optimisation of existing processes and structures as well as pragmatic implementation of concrete improvements
  • Further development of our HR service model and assessment of which services should be sensibly provided internally or sourced externally in the future.
• People Management
  • Professional and personnel leadership as well as further development of a small HR services team
  • Creation of clear responsibilities and deputies as well as ensuring sustainable knowledge transfer within the team
• Planning & Control
  • Central contact person and sparring partner for managers and employees at HQ on all people matters including complex employment law issues
  • Responsibility for the budget process including workforce planning for HQ
  • Ensuring a reliable HR data basis as a foundation for planning, control and well-founded people decisions

Your qualities and talents

• Preferably an HR specialist with a federal certificate or diploma
• 7–10 years of professional experience in a comparable HR function with solid practice in payroll, HR administration and HR services
• Several years of personnel management experience and enjoyment in professionally and personally developing a small team
• Strong hands-on mentality as well as a pragmatic, solution- and efficiency-oriented mindset
• Ability to quickly create orientation, set priorities and implement pragmatic solutions even in complex situations
• Modern HR understanding, sound knowledge of professional best practices and the ability to pragmatically and judiciously transfer these to a dynamic, internationally influenced environment
• Fluent German and English skills
