About the job
The Position in the Spotlight
Good lighting is created not only by the right luminaire but by the interplay of space, architecture, usage, and atmosphere. As a lighting planner (m/f/d) at Zumtobel, you bring these factors together and develop lighting solutions that are technically convincing and at the same time visibly improve spaces.
Do you want to combine your technical know-how with customer contact, organisation, and service? Then a versatile role with a lot of personal responsibility awaits you at Zumtobel Licht AG.
As a Project Manager / Service Manager (m/f/d), you are the central contact person for our customers throughout Switzerland, with a special focus on the French-speaking part of Switzerland. The focus is on existing lighting and emergency lighting systems and their service and maintenance. You coordinate service cases from the inquiry to successful implementation and work closely with the customer as well as the sales department, scheduling, and other internal specialist departments. The focus is on high customer satisfaction as well as efficient and cost-optimised handling of our service offerings.
Tasks in this Job
- Service & Project Management: You process and coordinate customer inquiries regarding existing lighting systems and ensure customer-oriented, timely, and cost-optimised handling. Complaints & Warranty Cases: You take over the coordination of complaints and warranty cases and reliably accompany them until resolution.
- Maintenance & Technical Service: You organise the technical handling of maintenance services and support internal as well as external inquiries about our projects.
- Technical Analysis: You support remote maintenance of defined projects and carry out initial analyses on site if necessary.
- Service Agreements: You advise our customers on suitable service and additional services and take over the sale of individual services as well as the registration of comprehensive service agreements.
- Project Documentation: You ensure complete and reliable recording of project and customer data in internal IT systems.
- Collaboration: You work closely with sales, scheduling, and other national and international internal contacts to provide our customers with professional and reliable service.
Knowledge & Experience
- Technical Training: You have completed training in the electrical sector, ideally complemented by practical installation experience.
- Lighting Technical Know-how: Good knowledge in the areas of lighting applications, luminaire hardware, lighting management, and emergency lighting systems helps you competently handle technical customer inquiries.
- Commercial Understanding: You have a basic understanding of commercial processes and feel comfortable with proactive telephone sales of services.
- IT Affinity: You have basic knowledge of IT and network technology and work confidently with common Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce is an advantage.
- Languages: You are fluent in German and French, both spoken and written. Good English skills are advantageous for communication with global contacts within the group; knowledge of Italian is an additional plus.
- Personality: You are communicative, service-oriented, and an organisational talent. Independent working, resilience, as well as entrepreneurial and result-oriented thinking characterise you.
