Your responsibilities :

• Processing and professional assessment of building applications
• Review and evaluation of applications for value-preserving measures on protective structures
• Collaboration on renewal projects as well as inspections of protective structures
• Handling administrative tasks in the Protective Structures department

Your background :

• Completed training in one of the areas of planning, structural engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, HVAC or automation
• Affinity and initial experience in project work
• Good knowledge in the use of MS Office

Office for Military and Civil Protection (AMB)

The Office for Military and Civil Protection (AMB) is an operations, training and administrative organisation. The AMB is an office with around 50 employees within the Security Directorate of the Canton of Basel-Landschaft.
The AMB is responsible for the operations of the Civil Protection Operations Association, the training in civil protection as well as for personnel and leadership in civil protection. Administrative tasks include, among others, army duties on behalf of the federal government or the operation of the Liestal barracks. Furthermore, the AMB prepares operations and contingency planning, as well as providing logistics and administrative services.

New establishment of the Protective Structures division as of January 2027

The Protective Structures area will be managed as a separate division from January 2027. To complement / form the new team, we are actively seeking new employees.
