Office for Building Permits

Tasks
- You process and assess all notification procedures (geothermal probes, e-charging stations, solar systems, air/water heat pumps, district heating connection) and grant approval or rejection.
- You process and assess mostly standardised building applications (mainly technical installations) from a building law perspective.
- You lead and coordinate the building permit procedure and carry out topic-specific general and/or case-related clarifications.
- Diverse information provision on process and detailed questions for your procedures completes the task profile.
Profile
- You have completed vocational training (draftsperson EFZ) or equivalent education as well as several years of professional experience in the field of building planning or execution.
- You have contact points and interest in construction activity. Your enjoyment of upstream and downstream administrative tasks as well as consultations is evident.
- We also count on your initiative and openness to new things.
- You use your negotiation skills, positive charisma and persuasiveness profitably.
- In addition, you bring flexibility and a pinch of humour.
- Your confident oral and written expression in German completes your profile.

About us
At the Office for Building Permits, we work today on the Zurich of tomorrow. Our task is to examine building applications, buildings and installations with regard to building law and safety. We inform, advise, assess and mediate even before the submission of a building application, conduct the approval procedure up to the decision and monitor the execution of construction work with regard to building and safety regulations.
