The Office for Penal Enforcement (AJUV) is responsible for the practical and administrative penal and measures enforcement. The Department of Penal and Measures Enforcement plans and designs resource- and risk-oriented sanction enforcement and thus makes a significant contribution to public safety. For the Department of Penal and Measures Enforcement, we are looking immediately or by arrangement at the Solothurn location for a Case Manager with Special Duties Enforcement 1, 80-100%.
Your responsibilities
- As a member of the Enforcement 1 team, you ensure both the enforcement of short (substitute) custodial sentences and case management in cases of all sanction types with low to medium recidivism risk (including enforcement planning).
- You calculate and enforce detention days of all sanction types with a focus on custodial sentences as well as in particularly demanding cases of the Enforcement 1 team.
- In this role, you issue appealable orders and arrange for notices and revocations in the Swiss Police Search System.
- You maintain telephone, written, and personal contact with assigned persons, conduct regular enforcement coordination meetings, and collaborate interdisciplinarily with other involved specialist offices.
- In the absence of the team leader, you act as deputy, ensure the operational management of the team, and represent the team leader in the relevant specialist and management committees.

- Your reliable, careful, and efficient working style is particularly evident in the preparation of enforcement orders, decrees, and court submissions. Between reading court files, enforcement reports, and expert opinions, telephone arrangements, and visits to enforcement institutions, an independent working style helps you to prioritise flexibly.
- You are characterised by a confident manner and high social competence – both in direct contact with convicted persons and in interdisciplinary collaboration. Furthermore, your German language skills in spoken and written form are impeccable, and good knowledge of foreign languages such as French and English ideally complement your profile.
