Do you want to combine technology, responsibility and a meaningful task? As a power grid technician, you work close to the operation of our power grid. You contribute to ensuring the network runs stably, disturbances are carefully analysed, and our systems are continuously developed. 

You do not have to be fully proficient in all topics yet. Important are your electrical engineering understanding, your willingness to learn new things, and your desire to take on responsibility. 

What you can achieve 

• Ensure network operation: You support the stable operation of our power grid on network levels four to seven and keep an eye on network quality and supply security. 

• Further develop networks: You participate in network calculations, dimensioning, technical clarifications and target network planning. 

• Maintain systems: You work with network protection, ripple control, power quality, network control systems and other secondary equipment. 

• Analyse disturbances: You evaluate measurement data, get to the root causes and derive concrete improvements. 

• Improve processes: You contribute your ideas when we digitalise, simplify or standardise procedures. 

• Develop solutions: You answer technical questions, explain contexts clearly and work with various departments. 

• Take responsibility: You grow step by step into new tasks and take on on-call duty. 

What you bring with you 

• You have a basic education in electrical engineering. 

• Ideally, you have completed further training or studies in electrical engineering, energy technology or a related field. 

• Experience in network technology, power supply or operation of electrical systems is an advantage. 

• You bring technical understanding and enjoy working your way into new topics. 

• You approach tasks in a structured and careful manner. 

• You ask questions if something is unclear and persist until a suitable solution is found. 

• You work reliably, dependably and responsibly. 

• You appreciate teamwork and share your knowledge. 

• You can explain technical matters clearly and understandably. 

• You are willing to familiarise yourself with new systems and applications.
