What the professional daily routine looks like

• As a vocational trainer, you combine clinical expertise, pedagogical know-how and leadership
• You work as a certified expert in intensive care and are committed to the further education of our students according to the Swiss curriculum
• You create a respectful and motivating learning environment in which students take responsibility and can develop both professionally and personally
• You plan and conduct clinical teaching, learning sequences, introductions, site and qualification discussions as well as exam preparations and examinations
• You are responsible for planning, documenting and evaluating the learning processes and ensure targeted training support
• You work closely with vocational trainers, subject matter experts and other interprofessional partners
• You actively contribute to innovations and optimisation measures in nursing and in the interprofessional context
• As a member of the ward management committee in the sense of Shared Governance, you contribute your perspective and help shape the further development of the intensive care unit

Competences and potential

• Diploma as a nurse (HF, FH or equivalent) as well as completed NDS in intensive care
• At least two years of professional experience as a certified expert in intensive care
• Completed pedagogical training (SVEB 1) or willingness to complete it
• Enjoyment in accompanying, promoting and inspiring people for intensive care
• Strong communication and social skills as well as ability to reflect and team orientation
• Independent, reliable and structured way of working
• Flexibility, resilience and enjoyment of organisation and collaboration
