The Regional Library Weinfelden is a highly frequented, innovative library organised as an association, located in the centre of Weinfelden with a dedicated team and a supportive board. The Regional Library is undergoing a structural process with development potential.

We are looking for a new Library Manager (60 - 80%) from 1 November 2026 (or by arrangement)

Your responsibilities include:

• Administrative, professional and personnel management of the library
• Co-development and implementation of the development and structural process
• Overall budget responsibility for the entire library
• Main responsibility for the range of offerings including supervision of media selection, ordering, registration and cataloguing
• Collaboration with the board
• Main responsibility for the library's public relations including communication concept and CI/CD
• Preparation of statistics and evaluations as well as annual reports
• Contact person for all sponsoring municipalities, schools and other organisations
• Management of accounting including payroll accounting and personnel insurance
• Creation of concepts in various areas and their implementation with the team

You meet the following requirements:

• You enjoy working strategically and conceptually and are interested in broad library work
• You have proven leadership experience
• Ideally, you bring experience in library work
• You enjoy working in a small, motivated and committed team and think and act participatively
• You love working with people and are strong in networking
• You generally work from Tuesday to Friday, and if necessary, also at weekend or evening shifts
