What you can achieve
- Responsibility for requirements and safety activities from the tender phase to verification and validation in new developments as well as modifications of existing products in the fields of mechanics and electrical/electronics
- Analysis, structuring and maintenance of complex system and subsystem requirements including ensuring testability and continuous traceability (e.g. in DOORS)
- Planning and determination of the necessary safety activities as well as independent execution of hazard, risk and safety analyses
- Active participation in reviews and safety inspections as well as active further development of methods, processes and tools in requirements and safety engineering
- Technical advice to project management on feasibility analyses, normative assessment and effort estimation in specialist questions
What you bring with you
- Completed technical studies (FH/Uni/ETH) and ideally further training in requirements, safety or systems engineering
- Several years of professional experience in requirements or safety engineering in a technically demanding environment; willingness to deepen knowledge in the other area is expected
- Sound knowledge of hazard and risk analyses according to common standards (e.g. ISO 12100) as well as application of methods such as FTA and FMECA
- Confident handling of regulatory requirements for technical product safety (e.g. Machinery Directive/Regulation), ideally complemented by knowledge of military standards (MIL-STD-882E)
- Structured, analytical working style as well as pronounced ability for interface communication with development, project management and our customers
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
