Die Zürcher Ziegeleien, a valued client of ours, offer ceramic solutions for the entire building envelope. For over 150 years, their clay building materials have contributed to making living more natural and building simpler. From a simple raw material, they develop sophisticated systems for roofs, walls, and façades. Since 2020, they have been part of the swisspor Group.

As part of succession planning, we are looking for a committed leader for the Istighofen plant as:

Head of Maintenance

Your tasks

Ensuring a high availability of production facilities and the associated infrastructure.

Solution-oriented leadership of the team: responsibility for a total of 10 employees. Analysis of maintenance processes and continuous efficiency improvement.

Planning and coordination of maintenance and repair work to ensure smooth production.

Responsibility for the efficient management of the spare parts warehouse and continuous improvement of spare parts management.

Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards:
Conducting risk analyses and safety inspections.

Monitoring the maintenance budget: ensuring effective cost control and timely implementation of all measures.

Identifying savings potential and investment opportunities. Further development of the team, also in view of age-related turnover, to ensure the long-term innovation capacity and competitiveness of the department.

Your profile

Completed mechanical or electrical basic training.

Further training as a maintenance manager or a similar qualification is desirable.

Sound knowledge of modern maintenance strategies: practical experience is an advantage.

Excellent leadership and communication skills: necessary to lead the team effectively.

High personal responsibility and problem-solving skills: operational activity and willingness to get hands-on yourself.

Ideally good spoken and written English skills and, of course, very good German skills.
