For our VISILAB location in St. Gallen, we are looking for a person who enjoys actively managing a location, inspiring employees and being successful together with the team.

🚀 Your role as Managing Director

As Managing Director, you take on the operational and personnel responsibility for the St. Gallen location. You are a host, leader, optometry expert and at the same time an important contact person for your team and our customers.

You lead with clarity and empathy, set goals together with your team and ensure that our high standards for advice, quality and service are lived every day.

Your tasks

• Overall responsibility for the St. Gallen location
• Leadership, motivation and development of the team
• Promotion of a positive and appreciative team culture
• Planning and organisation of daily business
• Ensuring competent and personal customer advice
• Active participation in sales and optometry
• Responsibility for achieving qualitative and economic goals
• Promotion of employees and identification of development potential
• Implementation and further development of VISILAB standards
• Close cooperation with regional and higher management levels
• Bringing in own ideas and impulses for the further development of the location

🌟 What you bring

• Completed training as optometrist EFZ, ideally further training as certified optometrist
• Several years of professional experience in optometry
• Leadership experience or the desire to take the next step into a leadership position
• Enjoyment of working with people and developing employees
• Entrepreneurial thinking and a solution-oriented working style
• High customer and service orientation
• Independence, initiative and sense of responsibility
• Strong communication skills and confident appearance
• Passion for optometry and enthusiasm for our industry
