The Novotel Geneva Centre, a 4-star establishment nestled in the heart of Geneva, offers 206 elegant rooms, a restaurant and a friendly bar, a well-equipped fitness centre and 5 rooms dedicated to conferences or seminars. Complementing this offer, the Residence provides 30 studios located just behind the Novotel. Our team, working for these two entities, thus ensures quality service and a memorable experience for our clients.
- Willingness and ability to work night shifts (Reception and night administrative work)
- Ensures a warm, efficient welcome to customers in line with the establishment’s quality standards
- Performs computer and administrative procedures related to check-in/check-out on the hotel’s IT system
- Verifies customer guarantees and reservations
- Ensures follow-up of guests’ stays by communicating important information to colleagues and superiors and by verifying guarantees
- Answers telephone calls and occasionally takes reservations
- Maintains, verifies and controls their personal cash register
- Responds to various customer requests and ensures their follow-up to guarantee satisfaction
- Provides customers with tourist information
- Completes various projects assigned by management
- Applies procedures and policies defined by the brand and hotel regarding customer control and personal security
- Ensures that special customer requests are passed on to the relevant departments
- Embodies the Heartist spirit in interactions with customers
- Fluency in English and a second language according to the hotel’s needs
- Service and reception skills
- Passion for the customer
- IT skills (word processing and spreadsheets, OPERA)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication (internal and customer)
