IT Specialist in System Operations and Cloud Infrastructure (56373)

Task

For our client, we are seeking a committed and professionally skilled individual for system operations and cloud infrastructure. In this versatile role, you will share responsibility for the operation and further development of the IT infrastructure, particularly in the areas of data centre, virtualisation, and storage. You will ensure the reliable operation of storage and backup systems, manage virtualised client and server environments, and support the technical integration of IT systems and specialised applications. Additionally, you will actively participate in IT projects and cloud transformation, supporting the planning and implementation of scalable cloud services based on Microsoft Azure, Entra, and Microsoft 365. The support and configuration of police and justice applications as well as their interfaces also form part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist EFZ
• Several years of experience in the administration of Windows client and server systems
• Very good knowledge of the Microsoft environment, especially Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
• Solid experience with VMware in server and client environments
• Experience with storage and backup systems
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Entra
• Experience in operating and troubleshooting complex IT infrastructures
• Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
• Impeccable character

Advantageous are:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructures
• Experience in cloud transformation projects
• Experience with complex specialised applications and interfaces
• Experience in the public sector or with police or justice applications

Project duration 12 months with the option to extend
