Head of Development & Partnerships

Your responsibilities

As a member of the executive management, you lead the Development & Partnerships department and contribute to defining the company strategy. In this key position, you make a significant contribution to the further development of the company by strengthening relationships with strategic partners, identifying new growth opportunities, and driving innovation initiatives. You actively monitor market developments as well as the hydropower ecosystem to anticipate future customer needs early and further strengthen HYDRO's positioning. Acting as an interface between partners, operations teams, workshops, engineering, and executive management, you take on a connecting role. You bring a clear vision, build long-term relationships with economic, academic, and institutional partners, and drive the development of new offerings in the areas of digitalisation, operational optimisation, and innovative energy solutions.

Your profile

We are looking for a credible, inclusive personality with a strong network who can convincingly represent HYDRO's interests and develop sustainable solutions together with partners. Thanks to your solid experience, you are well connected and recognised in the Swiss hydropower sector. You combine business development, strategic partnerships, and operationally close innovations with a clear focus on practice. You have proven your ability to further develop business areas and successfully bring together different stakeholders. Your diplomatic skills, pragmatism, and implementation strength enable you to build consensus and drive projects forward purposefully. You recognise opportunities, think solution-oriented, and combine operational understanding with long-term strategic thinking. Very good French and German skills are essential. English or Italian skills are an advantage.
