The Civil and Appeals Chamber of the High Court of the Canton of Solothurn adjudicates a wide variety of disputes in civil and criminal matters as the final cantonal instances. For the Civil Chamber Department of the High Court, we are seeking a Court Clerk, 70% at the Solothurn location from 01.03.2027 or by arrangement.
Your responsibilities
- Your main task is to process written proceedings and prepare draft judgments for the judges of the Civil and Appeals Chamber.
- During oral hearings, you take the minutes, participate in the judgment consultation with an advisory vote, and process this into a reasoned judgment.
- You will gain an in-depth and exciting insight into the judicial activities of a second instance.
- In a motivated team, you help shape the judiciary. We offer you flexible work arrangements and scheduling.
Your profile
- You have completed legal training at a Swiss university and have experience in civil and criminal law and/or in the court sector.
- A lawyer’s licence is desirable but not a prerequisite.
- You have good IT user skills and enjoy working independently.
- An efficient working style, confident German language skills, as well as resilience and teamwork complete your profile.
