The enterprise networks of tomorrow do not arise from standard configurations but from sound expertise and a clear architectural vision. This is exactly where your work as a Senior Enterprise Network Engineer begins. You shape demanding Cisco projects from the initial idea to the productive environment, consistently advancing software-defined networking and modern security concepts. Customer contact, technical depth, and knowledge transfer to less experienced colleagues belong together for you. This role offers room for personal responsibility and entrepreneurial action.
Responsibilities:
You design, plan, and commission complex Cisco enterprise networking solutions
Cisco Software Defined Access (SDA) with Catalyst Center as well as SD-WAN form the focus of your daily work
You further develop network segmentation and zero-trust concepts and implement them practically
You are responsible for the technical leadership of on-premises and hybrid customer projects
As an expert, you are called upon for tricky issues in 3rd-level support
Additionally, you create documentation, coach junior engineers, and support presales with technical input and in preparing offers
Qualifications:
You bring several years of experience in enterprise networking at a senior level, including broad know-how in the Cisco portfolio
A certification such as CCNP or CCIE is an advantage but not mandatory
Classic network technologies such as routing, switching, multicast, and wireless are familiar territory for you
Automation and infrastructure-as-code interest you, even if you are not yet an expert in all areas
You are characterised by a structured, solution-oriented working style and a high standard of quality
Furthermore, you have already worked in customer projects at a system integrator or in an enterprise IT department and communicate confidently in German as well as proficiently in English
