Operational Support Scientist (m/f/d)

We have the ideal position for you:
 

You will work in the Value Stream Packaging area and mainly take on the role of Operational Support Scientist for the high-speed packaging line, which holds a central and strategic position at the Bern site. In this role, you support the production team and processes with a strong focus on safety, quality, and market supply.
 

Your main tasks include:

• Supporting compliance with the highest production quality standards according to the principles "Right First Time," "Continuous Improvement," and "Continuous Inspection Readiness"
• Leading change management in the packaging area, especially planning and executing change controls as well as projects within the continuous improvement process.
• Conducting batch record reviews
• Ensuring compliance with all cGMP regulations, procedures, and processes
• Playing a central role in deviations / PTCs / CAPAs, as well as in the creation and revision of SOPs and manufacturing instructions
• Compiling and evaluating electronic data to support investigations and process optimizations
• Providing operational support within the value stream, especially for the high-speed line
• Active participation in the Value Stream Packaging Leadership Team
• Willingness to be on-call after completed training

You bring the following qualifications and professional experience:

• Completed studies in pharmaceutical engineering, packaging technology or a comparable technical/scientific education
• Professional experience, preferably in packaging/supply chain in the pharmaceutical sector or food production is an advantage.
• Strong ability to handle/prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain an overview in hectic situations
• Team-oriented, communicative personality with the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders and professionally manage their needs
• Fluent German and good English skills (spoken and written)
