Tasks

Skills
- Must have AMI diploma for ages 6-12 and 3 years of relevant experience.
- Team spirit and enthusiasm for taking initiatives.
- Intermediate English communication skills are a plus.

The Montessori School Meyrin, located in the Geneva region, is looking for a French-speaking Montessori Guide for our 6-12 class, for the 2024 – 2025 school year, starting August 15, 2024, with the possibility of extension.

As a Montessori guide for 6-12 year olds, your responsibilities include:
- Taking charge of the pedagogical responsibility of the 6-12 class
- Establishing close collaboration with the English-speaking guide, German-speaking guide, and assistant
- Contributing to the development of children while encouraging their autonomy
- Ensuring the social and intellectual development of children
- Including parents as partners in their child's education
- Adhering to the Montessori Cosmic Education program
We are looking for a 6 – 12 year old guide with:
- A work ethic and values corresponding to the well-being of children in their second plane of development
- A team spirit and collaboration
- Enthusiasm, who likes to take initiatives and carry them out
- Interest in enriching the school culture
Job requirements:
- AMI 6-12 diploma
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a 6 to 12 year old class is essential.
- Native French speaker. Intermediate communication in English is an advantage.
- Swiss work permit or EU citizen
