You can contribute in this role

• Carry out all tasks related to the supply and resupply of Air Force-specific systems, spare parts, fuels, special ammunition, pilot equipment, and medical supplies as well as general consumables
• Independently ensure proper warehouse management and process specialised orders
• Support team members in supply and resupply at the military airfields Alpnach and Emmen
• Willingness to work outside regular hours and on weekends, and to support the snow clearance team during the winter months

What makes you unique

• Completed vocational training as a logistics specialist with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ)
• Driving licence category B, SUVA-recognised forklift licence (C and C1E advantageous)
• User knowledge of MS Office products, SAP knowledge advantageous
• High self- and social competence, sense of priorities, resilient, efficient, team player, flexible, and result- and solution-oriented
• Oral and written knowledge of a second official language

In a nutshell

In this role, you make a direct contribution to the operational readiness of the Swiss Army and ensure that material is always available safely, completely, and on time. You work in a clearly structured, security-relevant environment with defined processes and take responsibility in a team that values reliability, quality, and collaboration. Your work combines operational warehouse tasks with organisational duties, thereby directly supporting the safety and functionality of the Army.

The Logistics Base of the Swiss Army (LBA) is there for the troops. It provides all logistical services for the Swiss Army and manages the material, systems, and infrastructure of the Swiss Army with its approximately 3,500 employees and 12,000 militia members.
