Head of Social Services 80 - 100%
Your tasks
- Leadership and organisation of the Social Services in personnel, financial, administrative and professional matters with 9 employees (subdivisions Economic and Personal Assistance, Asylum, Administration)
- Overall responsibility for administrative and professional concerns of the Social Services (including budget)
- Representation of the Social Services' applications as secretary of the Social Commission, recording of decisions and directives as well as meeting administration
- Own case management in the social assistance area (approx. 10 - 20%)
- Inter-institutional cooperation
- Participation in department-specific as well as company-wide projects
- Possibly deputising for the Head of the Society Department (member of the executive management) and supporting the professional and personnel leadership of the department
Your profile
- Proven professional experience in economic and personal assistance as well as sound expertise in social assistance and social insurance law
- Degree from a university of applied sciences for social work as well as further training in leadership and/or business administration is an advantage
- Knowledge of administrative processes in social assistance is desirable
- High social skills, pronounced communication abilities and strong solution orientation
- Strong service mindset, great independence and personal responsibility
- Empathy in dealing with people, mental flexibility as well as good reflection and assertiveness skills
