For this strategically important leadership role in the nursing directorate, which reports directly to the CNO, we are looking for a personality with foresight, creative power and high nursing expertise.
You are responsible for the strategic orientation and further development of nursing education, training and continuing education as well as the sustainable promotion of professional competence, quality and innovation in nursing. You ensure that nurses of all qualification levels acquire and further develop the skills required for highly specialised care in our various specialist areas.
As a central interface between the nursing directorate, human resources, education partners and the clinical areas, you design future-proof education and development concepts.
Your tasks
Professional and personnel management of the nursing education team
Deputising for the Head of Nursing Professional Development
Ensuring and further developing the education, training and continuing education of nursing professions at all qualification levels
Responsible for the professional introduction, support and competence development of new nursing staff
Ensuring needs-based competence development in the various specialised departments
Developing and implementing innovative education and development concepts based on current scientific findings
Further developing the nursing education area in close cooperation with Human Resources
Establishing and maintaining cooperations with education providers, universities and health institutions
Developing concepts for internships, observerships and work shadowing offers
Co-shaping a future-proof nursing organisation through strategic education and personnel development

Your profile
Science in Nursing (MScN) or comparable university degree
Ideally a doctorate (PhD) or proven scientific expertise
Sound knowledge in nursing development, education management and evidence-based nursing
Further training in leadership, management or organisational development is an advantage
Several years of professional and leadership experience in the clinical field
Proven experience in the development and implementation of education, development or practice projects
Strong strategic and networked thinking skills as well as the ability to analyse complex issues and develop sustainable solutions
Enjoyment in actively shaping change and driving innovation
Confident handling of projects, quality development and change processes
Convincing communication and networking skills at all hierarchical levels
Assertiveness, decisiveness and resilience
