Senior ICT System Engineer / Technical Project Lead (m/f/d)
At a glance
For our ICT Engineering & Operations team, we are looking for an experienced Senior ICT System Engineer / Technical Project Lead with solid experience in Microsoft-based hybrid cloud infrastructures. In this role, you will actively develop our ICT landscape and take on technical responsibility for demanding infrastructure and cloud projects. You will connect on-premises systems with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 and drive topics such as cloud integration, identity & access management, security, standardisation, and automation. You will combine technical engineering expertise with project responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Lead and technically coordinate ICT infrastructure and hybrid cloud projects from planning to implementation
- Design, operation, and further development of our hybrid Microsoft infrastructure with on-premises systems, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365
- Administration and further development of Microsoft Entra ID, identity & access management (IAM), as well as PKI and certificate services, including MFA, conditional access, role and permission concepts, and certificate lifecycle management
- Further development and modernisation of central Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud services as well as gradual migration to hybrid or cloud-based architectures
- Integration of external sites into a unified, secure, and scalable ICT infrastructure
- Co-design of security, governance, backup, recovery, and data concepts
- Standardisation and automation of operational and administrative processes, especially with PowerShell
- Ensuring stable, secure, and high-performance operations as well as support with troubleshooting, root cause analyses, and complex 2nd/3rd level issues
- Creation of technical documentation and collaboration with internal stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers
Hard skills
- Degree in computer science, advanced technical training, or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the ICT infrastructure environment, ideally with experience in technical project management
- Solid experience with Microsoft-based hybrid cloud infrastructures
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Entra ID
- Experience with identity & access management, MFA, conditional access, RBAC, and hybrid identity scenarios
- Solid experience with Microsoft PKI / Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) as well as certificate management and certificate lifecycle management
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and group policies (GPO)
- Experience with integration and modernisation of on-premises and cloud infrastructures
- Experience with cloud migration projects and automation of operational and administrative tasks
- Solid ITIL knowledge and practical experience with IT service management processes, especially incident, problem, and change management, are essential

- Ability to effectively combine technical engineering, operational responsibility, and project management
