Odyssey of the Mind Coach
Founded in 1924, the International School of Geneva (Ecolint) welcomes 4,500 students aged 3 to 18 years representing more than 130 nationalities. ODYSSEY OF THE MIND COACH
La Châtaigneraie Campus – Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA)

Why this role is important:
We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic coach for the "Odyssey of the Mind" programme. In this role, your main mission is not to provide answers, but to stimulate creativity and empower children to fully own their solutions. You will help students decode complex problems and develop essential collaboration skills for their future as citizens of the world.
Your role and responsibilities:
- Lead brainstorming sessions for long-term and spontaneous problems.
- Encourage students to take responsibility for their actions and choices as a team.
- Help the team work effectively together and teach the fundamental principles of collaborative effort.
Profile sought:
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience with children (as a parent, within a school community, or in coaching/facilitation) is highly desirable.
- Good knowledge of English and French is required, as the activity mainly takes place in English.
Personal qualities
- A positive, enthusiastic and creative personality.
- The ability to foster ownership by allowing children to develop their own solutions without adult interference.
- An excellent rapport with children and a genuine pleasure in working with them.
