The Children’s Hospital Zurich, with around 3,000 employees, is the largest university children’s hospital in Switzerland and one of the leading centres for paediatrics and adolescent medicine in Europe. The greatest asset of the "Kispi" are the little ones: up to 100,000 patients are cared for annually, and in 47 specialist departments we do everything for their well-being. Not only are the most modern equipment and highest quality in treatment paramount at Kispi, but also a good sense for interpersonal matters. In addition to the entire spectrum of paediatric medicine and paediatric surgery, the Children’s Hospital also offers a unique rehabilitation centre and a research centre.

Your tasks

You shape topics from everyday hospital life in daily business and thus get to know the entire range of corporate communications. You will be accompanied and coached by the team and can benefit from our experience and learn in practice.
You take early responsibility for your own topics from the hospital, research or support areas and create concepts, measures and content for these, which you implement for the relevant external and internal channels. You work independently, contribute your creative ideas and implement them.
Your main focus is writing and editing high-quality texts from real hospital life, which you publish on internal and external channels. You bring your joy of journalistic storytelling and tell relevant, target group-appropriate and emotional stories.
You create videos and content for social media and support community management.
You handle media enquiries in close cooperation with our media officers or accompany media professionals during filming appointments.
In addition, you work on strategic projects or produce content for the website or internal channels.
You actively maintain collaboration with the team as well as with specialists from the hospital, foundation and management.

Your profile

With a completed Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Journalism or a comparable qualification, you bring the appropriate foundation.
As a career starter, you want to get involved in corporate communications and the corporate newsroom, take responsibility and learn.
Editorial thinking comes naturally to you, and you enjoy writing journalistic texts. You succeed in presenting complex issues clearly and appropriately for the target audience.
Excellent writing and storytelling skills in German are among your strengths.
A quick grasp of things characterises you, and you deliver high-quality work even under pressure.
