The contribution you can make

• Carry out transport of materials, goods and people in favour of SWISSCOY and KFOR
• Collaborate in the planning and execution of convoys (for example supply convoys between the deployment sector and Switzerland)
• Perform minor maintenance and repair work on service vehicles
• Be responsible for the safety of the transported goods and compliance with transport regulations
• Perform duties according to the situation to ensure the mobility of KFOR as part of the Swiss Freedom of Movement Detachment

What distinguishes you

• Complete professional training, preferably in transport and the use of various means of transport (trucks, buses, tankers and/or cranes)
• Successfully completed Swiss Army basic training; Swiss women without basic military training receive military education appropriate to their role
• Civil driving licence (at least category CE and/or D)
• For your own safety as well as that of your comrades and to ensure good cooperation with Austrian colleagues and locally hired personnel, knowledge of German (at least A1) is desirable for this role
