• Pioneering & Location Scheduling: As the technical spearhead, you actively shape inovex's growth in Switzerland. You combine technological credibility in pre-sales with sustainable project delivery and lay the solid foundation on which future teams will build.
• Bridge between Business Vision & Code: You close the gap between business needs and technology. You accurately translate vague customer ideas and complex requirements into concrete and functional software solutions.
• Hands-on Prototyping & Software Engineering: The focus of your role lies in the active implementation of modern software solutions and system architectures directly in the customer project. You rapidly build functional prototypes as well as MVPs.
• Pre-Sales & Strategic Consulting: You lead and/or accompany customer discussions and translate business visions into pragmatic, feasible software concepts. You conduct interactive discovery and architecture workshops and provide well-founded effort estimates.
• Architecture Standards & Agile Leadership: For our projects, you define technical standards as well as structured concepts for complex IT landscapes. You manage your projects using agile methods – ideally supported by certifications such as Professional Scrum Developer or Scrum Master.

Who would fit well with us

In the role of Solution IT Architect & Consultant, your focus is clearly on strategic consulting, forward-looking conception, and setting up modern architectural patterns – less on pure operational implementation. You accompany decision-makers at eye level, evaluate new technologies, and lay the foundation for future-proof software solutions. For this, you bring experience and knowledge from the following areas:

• Fullstack Engineering & Architecture Expertise: You have several years of experience in designing and implementing complex software architectures. Your tech stack includes modern frontend and backend technologies (e.g. TypeScript, Kotlin / Spring Boot or .NET / C#) as well as containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud-Native & Modern Tooling: Practical experience with cloud infrastructures (preferably AWS or Azure) is a given for you. You decide when serverless or hybrid cloud scenarios make sense.
• Data & AI Fundamentals: A solid understanding of modern data platforms and data engineering rounds off your profile, enabling you to advise customers holistically on data-driven architectures.
• Consulting Personality & Entrepreneurial Spirit: Closing the gap between business needs and code drives you. You think entrepreneurially, convince stakeholders through professional excellence and empathy, and appreciate the variety between strategic consulting and concrete coding.
• Language Skills & Travel Activity: Very good German skills are a prerequisite (at least level C1), good English skills complete your profile. French skills are seen as an additional asset. Project-related willingness to travel (mainly within Switzerland, occasionally to Germany) is no problem for you.

Your Team

In Bern, we are jointly building the Swiss inovex team. This is not about working in an existing team, but about actively shaping the market entry and positioning of inovex in Switzerland. You work in a small, highly qualified core team that aims to sustainably establish inovex in the Swiss market – in close coordination and collaboration with our colleagues in Germany. We combine the experience, methods, and technological excellence of an established company with entrepreneurial scope for design on site. We preferably implement our concepts with open source software within agile projects. Most of the solutions we develop are integrated into existing IT systems, which is why we rely on integrated quality assurance from the start of our projects. No project is like another with us – depending on the customer, team, and technology stack, every solution is unique. However, our focus is always the same: with innovative technologies and a high standard of security, maintainability, and reliability of our systems, we want to make not only our customers happy but also ourselves.
