About the job
Digital Analytics Traineeship at zweipunkt
Digital Analytics connects data, technology and business. It is exactly at this interface that you will work with us.
You will learn to collect, analyse and interpret web and app data. You will recognise patterns in user behaviour and translate your insights into concrete recommendations for websites, campaigns and digital products. In doing so, you will move between analytics, marketing, UX, product and IT, learning to place data in the right context and make it usable for well-founded decisions.
What you will learn with us
- Analytics concepts: You will learn to translate business goals and requirements into measurable objectives, KPIs and analytics concepts, and to derive which data is needed for this.
- Tracking & Implementation: You will learn to derive concrete tracking requirements from this and implement them technically – using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or Tealium. You will also take into account consent management and data protection requirements.
- Debugging: You will learn to systematically check tracking setups, identify data issues, narrow down causes and fix technical errors.
- Data analysis: You will translate business questions into analyses, examine user behaviour, recognise patterns and derive concrete recommendations for action.
- UX & Conversion Optimisation: You will analyse customer journeys and user behaviour and develop approaches to make websites, apps and digital processes more user-friendly and successful.
- Marketing & Campaigns: You will learn how digital analytics is used to measure the impact of marketing activities and campaigns, better understand target groups and identify data-driven optimisation potentials.
- Reporting: You will see how digital data is prepared and made accessible for different target groups and how decision bases arise from data models, KPIs and visualisations.
- Data Engineering: You will gain insights into adjacent data engineering topics and learn how data is further processed, structured and quality-assured after collection. Depending on the project, you will also deal with data pipelines, cloud platforms or data models – where they are relevant for digital analytics.
- Data activation & new technologies: You will engage with topics such as segmentation, audience activation, automation and AI-supported analysis and learn where these approaches actually create added value.
- Consulting & project work: You will not only learn to develop technically sound solutions but also to communicate them clearly. You will work with clients as well as people from marketing, UX, product, IT and other departments, present results and gradually take on responsibility in projects.
- Practical learning: You will work on realistic use cases and real client projects, receive regular feedback and gradually take on more responsibility.
What you bring with you
You have a university degree – ideally a master’s – or are about to complete one. Your exact course of study is less important to us than the way you think and learn.
You fit well with us if you:
- enjoy structuring complex issues and approaching them analytically
- are interested in data, technology and digital business models
- want to understand what happens behind the numbers – and what companies can make of it
- enjoy familiarising yourself with new topics and tools
- work carefully and have high standards for your own results
- like working with other people and can explain complex things clearly
- work independently and proactively, take responsibility and keep an overview even in a dynamic project environment
- want to develop professionally quickly and learn continuously
- bring service orientation and remain professional and courteous even in demanding situations
- have good German skills (at least B2)
If you have already come into contact with topics or tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SQL, Python, Looker Studio, online marketing, UX or CRO, this will help you get started.
With us, you won’t just watch for long. You will analyse, experiment, present, discuss solutions with clients and sometimes realise that the first idea was not the best. That’s how you learn the job. We are looking for people with the potential and the will to develop into analytics consultants.
