Your challenge
The Schulthess Clinic is distinguished by the highest possible nursing standards. As a nurse, you ensure the professional implementation of these standards in everyday nursing and guarantee high-quality care and nursing of our patients before and after surgical procedures. In doing so, you maintain open and appreciative communication with patients, relatives, and the interdisciplinary treatment teams.
In addition to your work in direct care, after the induction and probation period, you will have the opportunity to gradually take on specialist responsibility at ward level. In this role, you actively contribute to the professional development of nursing, maintain close communication with the ward management as well as the nursing development management, and take on the following tasks, among others:
- Promoting and developing the best possible care for patients and their relatives according to the current state of knowledge
- Supporting the nursing team in implementing the nursing process and ensuring effective and sustainable care
- Professional and methodological guidance and coaching of staff regarding nursing, counselling, and education
- Responsible for ensuring and optimising nursing quality and implementing innovations
- Commitment and active participation in the nursing development committee
- Creating and revising nursing guidelines and concepts
- Designing and conducting internal training events
What convinces us
Ideally, you have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a completed and recognised diploma-level tertiary education in Switzerland. Openness, innovative thinking, flexibility, as well as commitment and resilience characterise you, as does your solid clinical and theoretical nursing knowledge and patient orientation. You possess high social skills and, through your communication skills, know how to inspire the team for further development in nursing. Independent and responsible action is among your competencies, as are empathy and teamwork. You gladly and effortlessly apply your very good IT skills (MS Office/KIS). Several years of professional experience and expertise in acute care and orthopaedics are advantageous.
